The Space2Waves Internationalisation Programme will assist up to 30 European SMEs to develop business opportunities for earth observation technologies, products and services in the blue growth, marine and maritime sectors.

 

 

Thirty European SMEs will be selected to go global in the target markets of Australia, Canada, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates.

The Internationalisation Programme will offer each selected SME a training programme including:

  • Workshops focusing on space and blue growth markets and opportunities, cultural tips, local business practices, intellectual property rights, regulations and foreign investment strategies.
  • Individual and personalised consulting session to focus on specific business needs (marketing, market intelligence, business agreements etc)
  • Successful applicants will also be able to take part in a 3-5 day business mission (travel restrictions permitting) in the selected target country which will include
    • B2B meetings with potential local partners and/or companies
    • Study visits in relevant infrastructures and/or companies
    • Where possible the mission will be organised alongside an event on maritime/space topics addressed by the project in the target countries.

Financial Support

The programme will refund up to Euro 1250 to each selected SME in travel support (or equivalent, subject to travel restrictions in force) once the mission is complete.
